We have released some new project deliverables for all of you, including a user and player manual of the 2 produced prototype games, plus the reports from field trial studies with real patients.

You may find therein answers to the following questions:  Did the PlayMancer prototype games produce a positive impact on our 2 groups of real patients, suffering from chronic pain (the former) and of eating disorders and pathological gambling (the latter)?  How did they rate the playing experience?  What is the game design of the 2 PlayMancer games? What do they look like? Applying motion tracking in games for health? What for? Emotion recognition in games for health? How is this implemented?

PlayMancer participated at the Open Day event of the European Commission at the Barleymont building in Brussels.

The event took place on Saturday 7th of May, during a bright sunny day that welcomed about 20000 visitors, families and kids to the world of the European Commission, behind the walls of their main building.

The stand where PlayMancer was present also hosted 2 other Serious Games projects; Re-Play and Spel-ler. The stand was continuously swarmed by people, eager to play, test and learn about the projects and their demonstrable results.

We just received the brand new project gifts.

These are to be delivered at the coming Open Day event in Brussels, where we will demonstrate the project to the public, but mostly to parents and kids .

Project development team members were interviewed by a Euronews TV Channel journalist, and the outcome has been a report on the project results, activities and potential.
