PlayMancer at the ICT2010 event in Brussels (27th to 29th of September 2010)

That was a nice opportunity to meet people and discuss about serious games and ICT in health...

Project PlayMancer was present at the ICT2010 event, with our own exhibition stand (stand number R5-20)! We had several Belgian schools visiting the stand and being informed about the objectives and results of the project.

Also, the press people visited the stand. They were taking thorough notes of the short introduction that they were given to the project results:

The project coordinated an interesting Networked Session, titled "R&D in Serious Games"on Wednesday 29th at 9:00 am CET. The session was coordinated in collaboration with National Technical University of Athens (coordinators of project Siren). Other participants included ITU (Georgios Yannakakis, Julian Togelius), SGI (Simon Egenfeldt-Nielsen), and ICT units and Officers (such as Loretta Anania). We were excited to see lot of interested people in this subject attending this session. This proves the potential of serious games in diverse domains from health to education to e-governance to... (place your own domain here!).
